Recalling an MRF Order or Quote

You can recall MRF orders and quotes and then amend the order/quote, delete it, or re-hold it as required.

1. Select SALES | ORDER ENTRY.

Micronet displays the MRF Order Creation screen.

2. Select one of the following options depending on the type of order/quote you want to load:

• FILE | LOAD MRF ORDER – load an MRF order for which the production paperwork and job tickets have been produced.

You can only change the details of these orders if you have the appropriate user security. You can also use this option to reprint the job ticket, or the store or customer paperwork if necessary.

• FILE | LOAD HELD ORDER – load a held MRF order
• FILE | LOAD QUOTE – load an MRF quote that was previously saved for a customer.

Once a quote has been recalled, you can process it in the same way as any other MRF order. For example, it can be amended, cancelled or converted to a production works order for manufactured goods – see "Converting an MRF Quote to an Order". Where the whole order is for normal stocked line items only – such as fasteners, brackets, tools, etc. – you can convert the quote directly to an invoice.

Micronet displays a selection screen with a list of MRF orders or quotes.

3. If required, you can filter the list of orders/quotes by any of the fields displayed at the top of the screen, e.g. Debtor or Order No.

Micronet displays the orders/quotes matching your criteria at the bottom of the screen.

4. Double-click on the order/quote you want to load, or select an order/quote and press the Enter key.

Micronet displays the MRF Order Header screen with the details of the MRF order or quote.

5. Continue processing the MRF order/quote by completing the steps required in the "MRF Order Creation Overview".
